According to a 2015 report from TalentWoo, the outsourced real estate recruiting team was responsible for over 450 hires across multiple departments at this REIT in 2015. Of these hires, 46 were for the Construction Department, 4 were for the Acquisition Department, 200 were for the Property Management Department, 94 were for the Maintenance Department, and 105 were for the Corporate Office. These hires were critical in helping our client achieve their ambitious goals for the year.

Looking at the client’s 2015 Annual Report, we can see just how impactful these hires were. In 2015, the client reported an increase in revenues of 49.3% over the previous year, bringing in a total of $812 million. They also saw an increase in their net operating income (NOI) of 29.9%, with a total of $513 million. This remarkable growth was due in large part to the contributions of these new hires, who were able to deliver against aggressive operational objectives, as well as bring in fresh ideas and innovative approaches to their respective roles.

The success of our property management recruitment efforts can also be seen in other key performance indicators (KPIs) reported by the client. For example, the Property Management department, which grew by 200 people, reported a 95.6% occupancy rate for their properties, up from 94.4% the previous year. Additionally, the client’s average rental rate increased by 5.5%, from $1,178 in 2014 to $1,243 in 2015. These metrics demonstrate that the quality of the leasing and property management hires made by TalentWoo across the country had a significant impact on the client’s bottom line.
